History

Inspired by a Forbes magazine article about a new foundation in upstate New York that provided support for traditionally underserved children to attend private elementary schools, founder Dr. Lewis M. Andrews, a strong advocate of education reform, contacted the foundation to learn more.

After hearing about the life changing impact the foundation was making, Dr. Andrews connected with a start-up group of like-minded people to form CEO Foundation of Connecticut, Inc.

In early 2024, because of increasing demand from Connecticut's families, CEO Foundation launched the Kids' Scholarship Fund to expand access statewide and fund more private K-8 school scholarships.
